Hopefully a good game. We have been pretty brutal lately.



This season Eichel has remained fairly healthy but is barely on pace for 30 goals.

He's also barely on pace for 96 points. I think i'm ok with him setting up Skinner for the finishers and him getting 25-35 himself. His 200ft game is what really took off this year. He has become the complete player we have been waiting for.

What is the issue with McDavid? Sick?

No stretch of games is a stretch of "winnable" games anymore. This team isn't good enough for anybody to think that way. In fact, I fully expect them to go 1-4 in the games before the break precisely because they let up on the gas.

Uh as mentioned he’s on track for over 90 points...yes how disappointing. And “fairly healthy” as he has missed what, 3 games? And you had the oversight to mention that next to your hope that McDavid is healthy for tonight?

i see the merit in the "win-now" mentality by management though. You can't waste McDavid's prime years. He is the reason you guys will ever have a chance at getting a Cup.

Just getting into the playoffs with McDavid gives the team a chance every time. I think they just need a bit more scoring (a top-6 winger and a scoring 3rd line C) and some consistency. That should be enough to catalyze the offense across the lineup.

Good job running down Eichel to make the Oiler seem better than the are.

realistically, dealing RNH/Nurse/Klef or a prospect like Yamo would probably be more realistic than him ever dealing one of Leon or Connor. Either way, I imagine PC doesn't last the year.
